I love photography!
Ever since I got a digi cam (a cheap Nikon E775, which I gave to my mom when I went to Vietnam) for X-mas several years ago, I took pictures of practically everything. At first it was mainly a documentary sort of thing, you know the sort of pics that show me at a party, me with a friend, me next to a waterfall, me at the beach, etc. Then I started noticing sceneries, people, and little details that I haven’t noticed before; I started taking pics without me in it! (They look much better that way). I felt like the camera showed me another level of perception. I was hooked.
Unfortunately, as far as knowledge about cameras and photography as an art form, I know very little. My knowledge extends as far as an Introductory Black/White Photography class. I’ll probably learn more when I have time (sigh, too little time and too many interests), but for now I’m just enjoying experimenting with this new perception
